Yebo...

..means.. "Yes" or an acknowledgement of "Hello".

I forgot how beautiful South Africa was.

Got here Friday and went straight to Agape – new building is going pretty well but has a long way to go…Saw the kids which was awesome!!! Most of them remembered me – Nalede has gone home to visit her mom so I won’t be able to see her until later today. The kids have grown so much!!! Sne is SIX, and Sphewe just turned EIGHT! I could hardly believe it! Some of the kids have changed since coming to New York – the difference is subtle sometimes and under the surface but there nonetheless. I sat with Pamela and she told me about how the kids were doing and why some of them were there or gone, etc. I learned things I wish I hadn’t learned – Nalede, and why she was there…Simphewe is now Nolwazi – she changed her name to mean “knowledge”. Not exactly sure why, but she still seems troubled. Sometimes she is so happy, and others…so sad. Nokubonga isn’t there now, and I think she still has some trouble getting along with the other older girls.
There’s a few new kids that are so sweet as well – in particular a three year old named Mbali who is adorable.
Had a party with the kids…was awesome.
Also visited a project called “Bobbie Bear” but I haven’t the time to blog about it now!!! It was – in short – phenomenal but really disturbing...

Lots of love to you all…
Resh
