Zanele's Unsent Letter...

My dear Zanele,

I'm sorry I haven't been able to come -- I have been away with family for the past week. I have nappies for you but they aren't the ones that you like because the store was out of stock of those.
I bought you some nice smelling stuff too. And I couldn't find slippers so I bought you some nice warm socks.
I will try and come tomorrow and bring some slippers. Let Zach know if I have forgotten anything or if there is anything else you need or if the nurses aren't treating you right.
I miss you so much and I have pictures of my friends and family at home to show you next time I visit.

I was unable to go to the Dream Centre earlier this week so I sent a package for Zanele with Zach.
She passed away on Saturday, August 7th while I was away. It's strange that she would chose the day I entered this world, to leave it. I am convinced it's a sign of our unending connection to each other...
The funeral will be held tomorrow, two hours from Durban, and I am still working on a way to get there.
